Making a difference for children fighting cancer

Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels supports the here-and-now needs of families impacted by childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses through FREE Comfort and Care counseling, Comfycozy’s for Chemo adaptive apparel, Financial Assistance, and Major Distractions events.

Our Programs

We bring Amanda’s sunshine to some of the most difficult days through our Major Distractions events and Meals of Hope lunches. We host Spa Days, Craft Days, Family Events, Teen Nights, and many more! Our warriors love to know that we always have something fun in store!

Our in-person events are in Arizona, but our virtual events are open to families anywhere with a child battling cancer or a life-threatening illness.

We provide three care gifts for warriors diagnosed under the age of 18 years old with cancer or another life-threatening illness: Comfycozy’s for Chemo Care Packs to warriors with a central line, Comfort Packs to warriors in Arizona children’s hospitals, and No More Chemo Party Boxes to Arizona warriors who finish treatment!

Our Comfort and Care team of licensed counselors, coaches, and mentors provide FREE counseling, play therapy, and supportive services to families impacted by childhood cancer or another life-threatening illness. Patients, siblings, parents, and caregivers can take advantage of bilingual individual, couples, and family therapy sessions. As well as grief counseling, mindfulness practices, mother mentoring, and facilitated support groups for families to connect with others on the same journey.

Our counseling, mother mentoring and mindfulness services are available to Arizona families with a child battling cancer or a life-threatening illness, but our virtual support groups are available to families anywhere with a child battling cancer or a life-threatening illness.

While insurance may cover a portion of the medical expenses, it does not cover additional ‘Here and Now’ needs incurred because of treatment. Amanda Hope relieves the financial burden of those ‘Here and Now’ needs by paying for gas, groceries, and utility bills for families.

Our Financial Assistance program is available to qualifying Arizona families with a child battling cancer or a life-threatening illness. If you are an Arizona warrior family in need, ask your social worker for requirements and our application.

Family Life is a peer-to-peer support program where participants will receive information about topics such as your child’s cancer, advocacy, and strategies for supporting the whole family.

Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels is a nonprofit, support and educational organization designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible, tax-exempt organization, founded in 2012 in celebration of Amanda Hope’s life.

During her three-year fight with leukemia and nine-month battle with a brain tumor, Amanda Hope dreamed that one day she would design a fun clothing line for kids just like her that would provide comfort and dignity during chemo treatments. Amanda’s life ended all too soon but her dream lives on through our Comfycozy’s for Chemo apparel and her legacy continues with our expansion of programs and services.
